Visual
Artist Resource Guide:
The
Visual Artist Resource Guide includes a variety of opportunities and
resources that are available to Connecticut artists. While the Guide
is focused on visual artists, a number of the resources are also relevant
to artists of all disciplines. The Guide was created in 2010 to support
the Taking Care of Business - Career Strategies for Visual Artists
conference series that was made possible by the Emily Hall Tremaine
Foundation and organized by the Connecticut Office of the Arts (Department
of Community and Economic Development) in partnership with ten of the
states regional cultural service agencies. The Guide was prepared
by the Northwest Connecticut Arts Council with final publication support
from the Connecticut Office of the Arts (DECD). Users of the Visual
Artists Resource Guide should understand that it is not intended to
be a comprehensive listing of resources nor does inclusion in the Guide
constitute an endorsement by the DECD, Connecticut Office of the Arts,
of any individual, organization, web site or content contained therein.
