Sand Blast!
Presented
by FIRST COUNTY BANK
Saturday,
July 20 at 1pm (Raindate: Sunday, July 21 at 2pm)
Sponsored
by the Greenwich Arts Council and the Town of Greenwich Department
of Parks and Recreation with major support provided by First County
Bank, Sand Blast! is a fun family event for all. There is no specific
theme for sand sculptures, and participants are encouraged to indulge
their imaginations enjoying the experience of creating art in the
sand.

As
Rey Giallongo, President, First County Bank, stated, the Bank
is proud to sponsor this years Sand Blast! event at Tods
Point Beach and support the Greenwich Arts Council. Our Greenwich
branch at 59 Mason Street has been looking for ways to strengthen
its community involvement, and this is the perfect venue for our branch
team to roll up their sleeves and be creative with their customers.
What better way to enjoy a day at the beach than making sculptures
in the sand with your children.
The
Greenwich Arts Council’s perennially popular Sand Blast!, sand sculpture
festival, is held at Tod's Point each summer.

of a monumental sand sculpture by artists
Wilfred Stijger and Edith Van De Wetering.
